Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By installing the Dispute Defense for Stripe application from the Stripe App Marketplace, authorizing Stripe Connect access, or accessing our APIs and dashboard, you ("Merchant", "User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the service.
2. Description of Service
Dispute Defense for Stripe is an automated dispute evidence collection, AI rebuttal synthesis, and response preparation system. The platform:
- Receives dispute notifications from your connected Stripe account.
- Natively aggregates factual transaction timelines, Stripe Radar risk scores, card verification checks (CVC, 3D Secure), and customer billing history.
- Compiles legally structured multi-page Service Documentation and Official Receipt PDFs in pure TypeScript isolate environments.
- Generates reason-specific AI rebuttal letters tailored to the bank's dispute claim reason (unauthorized charges, unrecognized transactions, canceled subscriptions, duplicate charges).
- Uploads and stages (submit: false) or submits (submit: true) the formatted evidence package directly to Stripe's Files and Disputes APIs.
3. Upfront Pricing & Payment Invariant
3.1 Fee Structure
- Pricing Formula: 15% of the disputed charge amount, subject to a $10.00 USD minimum floor fee per generated dispute package.
- Zero Subscriptions: There are $0.00/month recurring fees. Merchants are never charged during dispute-free periods.
3.2 Non-Refundable Nature
Because evidence compilation, AI synthesis, and document rendering execute immediately upon payment authorization, all fees are fully earned and strictly non-refundable once processing commences.
3.3 No Outcome Contingency
The fee compensates the service of gathering factual evidence, rendering multi-page documentation, and drafting AI rebuttals. Final dispute rulings are made solely by third-party card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and customer issuing banks. We do not guarantee bank outcomes, nor do we charge success fees or offer refunds based on whether a dispute is won, lost, or settled.
4. Merchant Obligations & Accurate Evidence
- Merchant Store Policies: You are solely responsible for configuring accurate store terms, refund policies, and product descriptions in your App Settings. Our engine submits these disclosures directly to banks on your behalf.
- No Falsification: You agree not to submit fabricated records, altered invoices, or fraudulent activity logs.
- Stripe Compliance: You agree to maintain your Stripe account in good standing and adhere to Stripe's Services Agreement and Restricted Business policies.
5. Data Privacy & Security
- In-Isolate Execution: All data processing runs within ephemeral Cloudflare V8 worker isolates.
- Zero Permanent Third-Party Retention: Workers AI and frontier LLMs process rebuttal prompts under strict zero-data-retention policies.
- PII Sanitization: Customer emails, full primary account numbers (PAN), and sensitive tokens are automatically masked before any AI prompt generation.
- Encryption: All evidence artifacts stored in Cloudflare R2 are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and accessible only via authenticated signed URLs.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISPUTE DEFENSE FOR STRIPE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE EXCLUDE ALL LIABILITY FOR LOST DISPUTES, BANK DECISIONS, STRIPE ACCOUNT ACTIONS, LOST PROFITS, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
7. Termination & Support
You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the application from your Stripe Dashboard under Developers → Apps → Installed Apps. For support inquiries or legal questions, contact: dispute.defense@outlook.com.
